FAQ
My streak was lost after reinstalling
Your streak, stats, and unlocks sync via iCloud. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID and that iCloud is enabled in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Sudokuru. They should restore automatically on first launch.
The hint isn't explaining the technique
Hints are tiered — the first tap highlights the relevant cells, the second shows the technique name, and the third gives the full explanation. Make sure you're tapping through all three steps before reporting it as broken.
What techniques does the hint engine teach?

Daily Challenge streak not counting
The Daily Challenge resets at midnight in your local time zone. Completing a puzzle after midnight counts for the new day. If your streak dropped despite finishing on time, contact us with your device's time zone and the date it happened.
In-app purchase didn't unlock premium
Tap Settings → Restore Purchases inside the app. If the unlock still doesn't appear, contact us with your Apple transaction date and Order ID.
The app crashed — what should I do?
Force-quit, restart, and try again. If the crash repeats, contact us with your device model, iOS version, which puzzle mode you were in, and what you were doing when it crashed.

- Stuck? Use a hint to learn the technique — not just to fill the cell
- Sudoku X and Killer are unlocked once you complete a set number of Classic puzzles
- Premium themes change the grid, number style, and background — try a few to find your focus mode
- Your iCloud sync is automatic — start on iPhone, finish on iPad
